¿Did you know that in Puerto Rico there is a castle? Surrounded by lush green countryside and nature is the Hotel Hacienda Los Castillos. It has three large pavilions with the peculiar form of a castle in the past. They have been remodelled to provide all the comforts that you look into his stay, either on holiday or business. This is a building inspired by the Middle Ages 7 built decades ago (1938) under the leadership of its then owner Dr. Manuel Melendez along with his brothers Andres and Peter. You never knew with certainty the true purpose of such construction. We heard talk of its founders to a clinic and a resting place for travellers.

Al loved Doctor visits, characters such as: Luis Muñoz Marín, Ernesto Ramos Antonini, Santiago-Chagin, Polanco Abreu, Luis A. Colon and John Boria, among others, attended the hotel. Dr. Melendez, simple and humble man, as he liked helping the community celebrated his castle in many banquets and parties for poor children. Also, was dedicated to planting fruit trees and cane, china, coffee, avocados, lemons, coconuts, among others. Since 2007 Family Guzman Velez acquired The Castles until today are the administrators of this great legacy of history in our country.

On March 27, 1997 Mr. Pedro Gomez buys the hotel and remaining ropes of land and began remodeling it. Outfit its 18 rooms, single and double, with the amenities necessary for the enjoyment of guests. Then, it bought by Mr. Francisco Rodriguez. Since 2007 Family Guzman Velez acquired The Castles until today are the administrators of this great legacy of history in our country.
